Crikvenica is a well-known place on the Croatian coast that most people visit mainly in the spring and summer months. I think I’ve been to this town once or twice in my life, but I’ve never explored it in this way before. Crikvenica was the second location on my itinerary that day, so I was already well-practiced in the rhythm of photographing and touring locations. Fortunately, I found parking quite quickly, after which I went for a walk around the town. Crikvenica is a very charming place that can be visited very quickly if you have a detailed plan – and I had one. I was particularly impressed by the small streets above the central town square, while the square itself was full of people enjoying coffee on the sunlit terraces of cafes.
Definitely a warm recommendation for anyone who loves history and architecture and is passing through this part of Croatia.
