I only had one afternoon to walk around Trogir, but that was more than enough to fall in love with its stone alleys and Mediterranean charm. This photo, snapped during a stroll through the Old Town, captures a spontaneous moment—a narrow street, classic Dalmatian shutters, flowering vines, and a bit of human life weaving it all together.
What I love about photographing Trogir is how everything feels preserved yet still buzzing with everyday life. You’ll see locals chatting on the phone, travelers walking their dogs, and historic walls soaking in centuries of sun. It’s a living postcard, where every turn brings something new to frame.
Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason. With its Romanesque and Renaissance buildings, narrow medieval lanes, and stone courtyards, it’s a dream for street photographers like me. The town has been shaped by Greeks, Romans, Venetians—you name it—which adds to the unique blend of details in every corner.
